| Mushrooming holidays |
Come wandering in the forest with us looking for mushrooms - a unique opportunity to discover the hidden treasures of the fauna and flora of Lozère!
We are organizing a mushrooming week-end on the 23th of September and 30th of September. Week-end on the 7th of October is full.

Green oaks lining the valley bottoms, chestnut groves, conifer stands and beech woods in the mountain : great forests are awaiting you for exciting autumn explorations !
The day is spent walking around discovering the world of mushrooms, chestnuts and other fruits.
In the evening, storytelling and chestnut-roasting ('brasucade') by the open fireplace will give you the opportunity to learn more about the landscape and folklore of the Cévennes. |
| Mushrooming holidays last 2 1/2 days. |
| For example, you can arrive on a Friday evening between 8 and 9 pm, have supper at our table and spend the night at our bed & breakfast or in one of our self-catering lodgings. |
- On the Saturday morning, breakfast with the guide who will introduce you to the different species of mushrooms as you walk along beautiful traditional walkways.
- Off for the day with a home-made basket-luncheon.
- Back between 5.30 and 6 pm, you will be ready for an afternoon snack with your feet up in front of the fireplace (our home-made pastries are well-known). You will then settle down to examine your day's findings, determine the different species and learn the characteristic traits of each.
- Apéritif around 7.30 pm, followed by supper.
- An evening structured around a particular theme and served by folktales or slide projections will end this wonderful day spent together. |
| - On Sunday morning, breakfast, then off with your basket-luncheon for another day in the forest gathering mushrooms to bring back to your home. |
